Hit BBC TV show Dragons' Den will be auditioning for series six at Ideal Business Show Thames Valley at Newbury Racecourse on April 29 and 30.

The production team is looking for entrepreneurs who are seeking investment to launch an idea, a business or product and are prepared to present their plan to the four Dragons in front of millions on television.

"This year they are back for more so entrepreneurs should sharpen their wits and come to Newbury Racecourse armed with ideas and prepare to impress the production team. Auditioning will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so we'd encourage entrepreneurs to get in early to avoid disappointment."

In the last series, 15 entrepreneurs received offers of investment in the Den, and plenty more have gone on to find success even without the backing of the Dragons.

Among the most memorable recipients of Dragons' Den investment, Imran Hakim pitched his iTeddy, a teddy bear with an integrated multi-media player, securing an investment of £140,000 from Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones. With the Dragons' investment and expertise, the iTeddy became one of Argos' top three selling toys of Christmas 2007 and Imran has recently signed a multi-million pound deal with the UK's number one toy and game distributor.

And only a few months ago, Peter Moule received an £150,000 from James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne for his 'choc-box', a simple plastic housing that protects cable connections. Within weeks, the Dragons helped ramp up production from one million to three million units per year, enabling him to secure him a five-year deal with a multinational distributor.

To stand a real chance of securing Dragons' interest, the ideas, businesses and products should have:
